A meeting doesn’t always have to be face to face. I have clients from all over the globe and we chat via WhatsApp or Skype. I do however find email the best communication tool as I can always go back to a conversation to make sure I got the facts or brief 100% correct.
There is an online brief form on my website where clients can answer a couple of questions.
After I got all the important questions answered, I will take 1-3 days to work out a detailed cost estimate for the project. You’ll receive this via my Wave account.
If you’re happy with the cost estimate, I’ll send a 50% deposit invoice which must be paid within 30 days. After payment is received, I’ll start with the design process.
This will be sent as a PDF or in the case of a website, a test link. You will now get time to review and send feedback. My quote usually includes 2 rounds of changes.
After the changes (hopefully not many) has been made and both parties are happy, I’ll roll-out final design. This is the exciting part. When things are starting to get real!
The client will receive the final invoice and the project will be completed. Once payment is received, the site will go live or in the case of logo, the files will be sent via WeTransfer in JPG/PNG and PDF (vector) format.
The above process is usually an easy and painless journey. I believe most of my clients are usually satisfied with the end result and most have become permanent clients.
